COOKIES

We use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are sent and stored on the user’s browser when visiting a website. If the corresponding website is accessed again, the user’s browser will send back the content of the cookies and thus make it possible for the user to be recognised. Certain cookies are automatically deleted after the browsing session (so-called “session cookies”), others are stored for a specific period of time or permanently on the user’s browser, and are then deleted independently (so-called “temporary or permanent cookies”). They help make websites more user friendly and benefit the user. They also help record statistical data relating to the use of the website, and aid in analysis to help improve the service. Our internet service may also contain “Third-party cookies”. These are cookies that are set by third parties when you view the content of our site.

It is possible to disable the storage of cookies in your browser settings, i.e. rejecting the acceptance of third-party cookies or all cookies, as well as deleting cookies that are already stored in your browser at any time. You can find out more about this, for example, in the help system of your Internet browser.

However, please note that you may then not be able to use all functions of our website.

This stored information is stored separately from any other data provided to us. In particular, the data collected via these cookies will not be linked to any of your other data.

Opt-out option

Further information on cookies can be found on the user portal www.meine-cookies.org. You can also use the following link http://www.meine-cookies.org to this portal to view the activation status of tools from different providers and object to the collection or analysis of your data by these tools: www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement.

A central opt-out option for various tools, in particular from US providers, can also be reached at the following link: optout.networkadvertising.org.

Third-party services

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in analysis, optimisation and efficient operation of our internet service) within the meaning of Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, we use third-party content or service offers in order to include their content and services, such as fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”). This always requires that the third-party providers of this content can see the IP address of users, since without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to the browsers of the users. Your IP address is therefore necessary to display this content. We strive only to use content whose respective provider uses the IP address solely for the delivery of content. In the context of our internet services, we use external fonts – so-called “Google fonts” https://www.google.com/fonts. The integration of Google fonts is carried out through a server request to Google (usually in the USA). Further information can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, including the option to opt out at: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/. Furthermore, we incorporate the “Google Maps” service of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Further information can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ including the option to opt out at: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

Social plugins

We do not use any social plugins of social media on our website.

Links to other websites

Insofar as the website of RHM contains links to other websites, the following applies:

As the provider of our website, we are solely responsible for the content of our own website. A distinction is to be made between our own content and content made available by other providers. We cannot assume any responsibility for the content of other providers. We do not have any influence over whether the providers that are linked to us comply with the relevant data protection regulations. We do not accept liability for the content of external websites. Should you notice a relevant violation, we would appreciate it if you could bring this to our attention. We will then remove the link as necessary.

User data can be stored in a Customer Relationship Management system (“CRM system”) or similar enquiry organisation. We delete the enquiries once they are no longer required.

Data of minors

Personal data of minors are not knowingly gathered or used in any way. Minors should not send personal data to us without the approval of their parents or guardians. RHM advises all parents and guardians to teach their children how to handle personal data safely and responsibly on the Internet.

RHM takes precautions to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data are conscientiously protected from intentional or unintentional manipulation, loss, falsification, destruction or unauthorised disclosure. RHM continuously improves its security measures in line with technological developments.

Please use the information under “Contact” to assert your rights. Please make sure that you can be clearly and personally identified.

You are entitled to request information from us free of charge (Article 15 GDPR) at any time on your stored personal data or other information, e.g. the processing purposes, the recipients and the planned storage duration or the criteria for determining the duration.
